Global Game Jam (GGJ)
Global Game Jam is the largest international game jam where people gather to create games within 48 hours. It welcomes participants of all backgrounds to learn new technologies and skills, all while forming friendships and teams!
Global Game Jam 是世界上最大的國際遊戲創作活動，參與者們會聚集在一起，在 48 小時內基於一個主題創作遊戲。這個活動歡迎各種背景的參與者，讓他們學習新技術和技能，同時結交朋友，甚至可能開始他們的遊戲開發之旅！

GGJHK 2025 is entirely run by volunteers and we need your help to ensure it runs smoothly! Staff t-shirt and subsidy for meal(s) will also be provided.

Who is eligible to participate?
誰可以參加活動？Anybody can participate so come join us on-site!
For participants under 18 years old though, please contact us at [email protected] for arrangements.人人都可以參加 GGJHK！
18歲以下人士請另電郵 [email protected] 安排。
Are there any registration or participant fees?
參加費用如何？
Will meals be provided?
場地會有食物供應嗎？Unfortunately not! But the Polytechnic University campus and the surrounding area has quite a lot of accessible food options.
You’ll also be able to order delivery too! Full details to come later.活動沒有提供餐飲。
不過，理工大學校園內，以及校園周邊都有很多餐飲選擇。
你可以訂外賣送到活動場地。我們稍後會提供更詳細的資料。
Is there a registration deadline?
報名有截止日期嗎？Yes, there is! For security and safety considerations, GGJHK will close participant registration at 11:59 PM on Thursday, January 9th to provide adequate time for the venue to prepare visitor passes for all participants.
有啊！請於 1月 9日 下午 11:59 前報名，方便大會準備訪客證給每位參加者。
What if I’m not sure if I can attend?
如果我有興趣參加，但未知當日能否出席呢？We recommend you to still register anyways! If you end up unable to attend, simply let us know.
由於準備需時，我們建議你先報名。最後來不到的話說一聲就可以了。
I haven’t made a game before, can I join?
我從未製作過遊戲，可以參加嗎？Everybody’s welcome regardless of experience! If you’re still unconfident, why not attend one of our pre-GGJHK workshops? Check out the events page for more details.

What do I need to bring to GGJHK?
參加 GGJ 要帶些什麼嗎？Just yourself and anything else you may need to develop a game! Generally this includes a laptop, tablet for artists, and etc. We also recommend bringing warm clothing for the winter weather.
只需帶你本人，以及任何開發遊戲可能需要的東西！一般來說，會包括手提電腦和繪圖用的平板等。此外，我們亦建議攜帶保暖衣物以應對寒冷天氣。
What if I don’t have a laptop?
沒有電腦怎麼辦？Unfortunately we don’t have additional laptops or computers to lend out, but GGJHK still accepts board game projects so consider developing a tabletop game instead!
今年會場是沒有電腦供應的。你不妨考慮一下製作桌上遊戲，例如棋類或者卡牌遊戲，甚至角色扮演遊戲。
